Ledyard National Bank is pleased to announce that it has been named, once again, one of Business NH Magazine’s 2022 Best Companies to Work For. This award joins two other recent honors, both awarded by American Banker, the banking industry’s premier daily newspaper. Named for the third year in a row as a Best Bank to Work For, with a ranking this year of #27 out of 90 banks who qualified, Ledyard was also recognized by the publication as one of the Top 200 Community Banks in the nation.
Business NH Magazine’s judges recognized Ledyard as a Best Company to Work For by citing the organization’s ability to understand the new workplace realities, with flexibility a consistent focus. They also recognized the company’s efforts to offer engaging opportunities that support community involvement and programs that enhance healthy living, such as Ledyard’s Wellness Initiative. Ledyard was evaluated on the stellar results of an employee engagement survey regarding company culture, family-friendly policies/work life balance, wellness initiatives, employee development and benefits, as well as an extensive employer survey, detailing benefits and workplace practices. A panel of HR executives judged the company culture responses on the employer survey, and the results of all those assessments determined the winning companies.
Ledyard’s other 2022 awards, specifically The Best Banks to Work For program, identifies and honors U.S. banks for outstanding employee satisfaction. Determining American Bankers’ Best Banks to Work For included an evaluation of participating companies’ workplace policies, practices, and demographics, as well as an assessment of employee surveys conducted to directly assess the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. The combined scores determine the top banks and the final ranking. Full results of this year’s program are available at American Banker and in the November issue of American Banker Magazine.
