Michael Hakoun is the Executive Vice President & Managing Director of Ledyard Financial Advisors, with more than two decades of experience in the investment management and banking industry. Michael’s extensive wealth management and banking experience perfectly complements Ledyard’s strategic goals and passion for developing long-term client relationships.
 
Prior to joining Ledyard, Michael led a five-state team located in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island supporting 230 branches for TD Bank. The comprehensive Wealth Management team included Wealth Strategists, Investment Advisors, Trust Advisors, Wealth Lending Specialists, Private Client Relationship Managers and Client Services. Prior to leading that team, Michael worked in Canada where he led a Call Center for TD Ameritrade in London, Ontario. He also worked in Toronto, Ontario, leading the Customer & Employee Experience Strategy groups across the North American Call Centers, which included Wealth Direct Investing & the Wealth Advice Center. Additionally, Michael has Retail Banking experience with TD, as a prior Retail Regional Manager in the Greater Concord - Lakes area of NH. Prior to joining TD, he worked with Citibank & Guardian Life Insurance.
 
Michael graduated from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business in Ontario, Canada with a Master of Business Administration. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and also holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, 24 licenses.  
 
Michael earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation after completing the Exit Planning Institute’s intensive executive MBA-style program.
 
He teaches students at his local church’s youth group and recently served on the board of Mount Zion Christian Schools.

Doug Phillips joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in 2017 after spending 30 years in the investment management industry serving affluent individuals and families, foundations and endowments.

As Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for leading the investment team and managing Ledyard's investment process, research activities and the development of portfolio strategy.  He also enjoys working directly with clients to help them meet their financial objectives. 

Prior to joining Ledyard, Doug was the Chief Investment Officer of Foster Dykema Cabot, a registered investment management firm in Boston.  He was also a Portfolio Manager at Choate Investment Advisors, a subsidiary of Choate Hall & Stewart in Boston.  While at Choate, he worked closely with many of the firm's clients and was a member of the Investment Policy Committee, which was responsible for formulating investment strategy and selecting investments.

He earned a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University in 1986 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Margie Arbuckle-Morrill joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in August of 2000. She has over 25 years of trust administrative, tax, IRA, charitable gifting and wealth management experience. Prior to joining Ledyard, she was the Life Income Trust Administrator for Dartmouth College for 16 years.

Margie’s professional associations include terms as a member of the Connecticut Valley Estate Planning Council and the Upper Valley Planned Giving Council.

Margie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of New Hampshire System where she graduated with honors. In January 2002, Margie completed the Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School with honors. In March 2004, she successfully completed her IRA Professional School training with Cannon Financial Institute. In August 2011, Margie completed all of the Certified Financial Planning course work at Boston University. Margie has also obtained her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and her Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) designations.

Susan Renaud joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in June of 2015 and has 25 years of finance, operations and consulting experience in New England and Europe. Prior to joining Ledyard, she was an independent CFO consultant working with small businesses. Susan has enjoyed a wide and varied career having previously served as Director of Strategic Integration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock, CFO at King Arthur Flour, Mergers and Acquisitions consultant with PwC London and held various roles at Ben & Jerry’s in Vermont, London and Paris.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from The University of Texas and is a Sloan Fellow, having completed the Sloan Masters Program at London Business School. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of the Upper Valley Land Trust.

Jon E. Molesworth joined Ledyard in 2000, initially as a portfolio manager and equity analyst.  He currently holds multiple responsibilities as Director of Investment Services, Senior Portfolio Manager and a member of Ledyard's investment strategy team.

Prior to joining Ledyard, Jon spent ten years as a Risk Management Consultant and Team Manager for the Risk Management practice of Watson Wyatt Worldwide in Boston.

Jon received a B.A degree, Highest Honors, in Business and Mathematics from Skidmore College in 1987, and received his M.B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in 1998. Jon also graduated from the Cabinet and Furniture Making program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston in 1999. Jon has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the Insurance Institute of America in 1995, the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation awarded by The Center for Fiduciary Studies in 2008 and the Global Financial Steward (GFS®) designation issued by the Leadership Center for Investment Stewards in 2012.  Jon has served as Auditor for the Town of West Fairlee, a member of the West Fairlee Budget Committee, and has served on the Rivendell Interstate School District Technology Committee.

Jeff Gendron joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in 2022. As a Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Strategist, Jeff is responsible for investing client portfolios, conducting research, and providing client service.

Over his career spanning more than 25 years, Jeff has built broad-based experience in many segments of the financial services industry. Prior to joining Ledyard Financial Advisors, Jeff researched investments and managed portfolios at The Colony Group and Harvest Capital Management. Previously, Jeff conducted manager due diligence research for the broker-dealer division of Lincoln Financial Group. He served in various roles at the New Hampshire Retirement System where he researched investment strategies, managed projects, and provided plan administration for the $7.4 billion defined benefit pension fund. Jeff began his career managing 401(k) plan administration for the defined contribution divisions of Scudder Trust Company and Putnam Investments.

Jeff earned his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Jeff holds the FINRA Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law license. He earned the right to use the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. Jeff earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation after completing the Exit Planning Institute’s intensive program. As a Chartered SRI Counselor™, Jeff developed foundational knowledge and expertise in sustainable, responsible, and impact investing strategies.

Outside the office, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, reading, and learning about geopolitics. In 1995, Jeff married Kathy. They have known each other since attending first-grade together in Hudson, NH.

Thomas Hudson, CFA

Tom Hudson joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in 2023 as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Strategist.  With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, his primary responsibilities include investing client portfolios and working with clients to help them meet their objectives. He also helps develop investment strategy for Ledyard including asset allocation, manager diligence research, security analysis and client communications.
 
Previously, Tom was the Director of Investment Research at TFC Financial in Boston, where he was a voting member of the investment committee.  Tom conducted ongoing manager due diligence in equity, fixed income and alternative asset classes.  He helped create the firm’s portfolios that considered environmental, social and governance factors. Tom also trained and provided portfolio management oversight to trading associates investing client portfolios and was also instrumental in adding alternative investments to client portfolios during his tenure including private real estate, real assets and insurance- linked securities.
 
Prior to TFC, Tom worked as a senior investment analyst for The Milestone Group in Denver, where he was tasked with client trading, investment research, and operational support.  Tom managed a team of four analysts who traded stocks, bonds, ETFs and mutual funds for client portfolios.  Their research focused on asset allocation, manager style and positioning and current capital market conditions.
 
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from St. Lawrence University.  He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004.  He is also a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Scott Coulter, CFP® joined Ledyard in 2024 as Chief Wealth Planning Officer, bringing over twenty years of leadership experience in the wealth management and banking industries.  Scott leads the Division’s Financial Advisors, Financial Consultants and Client Administrators, and partners with other divisions of the bank to help clients with a comprehensive banking and wealth management experience. 
 
Most recently, Scott served as the Head of Strategy and Distribution for Citizens Wealth Management.  In this role, he was responsible for driving initiatives that significantly grew the business by enhancing processes and programs, ensuring exceptional experiences for both clients and colleagues.  Scott has also been the National Sales Manager, leading a large team across all client segments, from emerging affluent to Ultra High Net Worth. 

Before stepping into leadership roles, he worked as a Financial Advisor, focusing on comprehensive financial planning for his clients.  Passionate about the financial planning process, Scott is dedicated to unlocking clients’ full potential and enhancing the lives of both our team and our clients.
 
Scott holds a CFP® designation and FINRA Series 7, 24 and 65 licenses.  Additionally, he is a recent graduate of the Consumer Banking Association’s Executive Banking Program.

Alex Bacon joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in 2024 following 11 years with Goldman Sachs. As Wealth Operations Manager, he oversees all trading, client onboarding and connectivity across portfolio managers and financial advisors. His expertise lies in risk management strategy, driving efficiency, and workflow enhancement. 
 
Most recently, Alex served as Stable Value Operations Lead for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was responsible for new fund launches, client onboarding, portfolio restructures/transitions, and reporting & analysis. In addition, his team was responsible for monthly fund reconciliations, fee payment processing and regulatory audits. He was also a member of both the stable value management & wrap strategy committees.
 
Alex is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York and lives in Vermont with his wife and daughter.

Devin Cowette joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in 2022. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, he manages portfolios for individuals, families, institutions, and charitable organizations. His expertise ranges across many types of investments and helping clients build and maintain their wealth. In 2024, he was promoted to the Ledyard Financial Advisors Investment Strategy Team. 
 
Devin has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Ledyard, Devin worked for Bar Harbor Wealth Management as a Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst. He was a member of the investment strategy team that made investment decisions for the bank’s clients.
 
Devin is a graduate of Keene State College in Keene New Hampshire and earned his Master’s Degree in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University.
 
Devin served as the instructor to the Bishop Brady High School investment group where he brought the club to Wall Street to ring the opening bell for White Mountain Insurance. He was also a published author for a quarterly in-house magazine Understanding Investments. Devin has also worked with the ALS Association to help raise awareness and funding.

Karen Crump joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in Concord, New Hampshire in 2016, is a graduate of Champlain College in Vermont, and has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Karen manages portfolios for individuals, families, institutions, and charitable organizations.  She also works with the investment strategy team on projects and seeks ways to help us communicate about investments clearly and effectively to clients.

Christopher Ng joined Ledyard National Bank’s Investment and Trust Services Division in October of 2003 and has over 25 years of experience within the investment and trust industry. In 1987, Chris began his financial career with the Dartmouth National Bank in Hanover, New Hampshire and moved into Fleet Boston's Private Clients Group when Fleet Boston acquired Dartmouth National Bank in 1989. Prior to joining Ledyard, Chris was Vice President and Relationship Manager with Fleet Boston.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont and is both a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and a licensed investment representative with the NASD (Series 7 & 63). He is also a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and the New England School of Banking at Williams College. Jeffrey Trombly joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in Concord, New Hampshire in 2016 and now is based in the New London office.  As a Senior Portfolio Manager and Medicare Specialist, he works closely with clients to help them plan and meet their objectives.  He also works with the Investment Strategy team on various projects including fixed income analysis.

Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  His background includes positions as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in Portland, Maine and Morgan Stanley in Manchester, New Hampshire.  His area of specialty has been personalized asset management for individuals and institutions.  Jeff places a strong emphasis on the financial planning process in order to best position his clients' portfolio management requirements within their overall financial strategy.  He has also held positions with Charter Trust, Chase Manhattan Bank and MassMutual Financial Group, giving him a broad exposure to all segments of the financial services industry.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bates College.  Outside interests include serving on several Concord area boards, currently the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, the Concord Historical Society and the Friends of White Park.

Grady George joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in April, 2006 and has worked in the wealth management industry since 2001. Grady earned his BA degree from the University of California, Davis and graduated from Vermont Law School in 2000 with a Juris Doctorate.

He has completed programs on Retirement Accounts and Personal Trusts in addition to graduating from the ABA National Trust School at Northwestern University. He has also attended the Cannon Financial Institute and completed an advanced course on Trust Administration in New Hampshire.

Grady is a current or past member of the Montshire Museum of Science, Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic Aquarium and Institute, National Aquarium in Baltimore, and the New York State Historical Association.

Except for a one-year hiatus, he and his family have lived in the Upper Valley of Vermont since 1996.

Valerie joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in September of 1998 and has over 35 years of experience in taxation, banking, and wealth management services.  Valerie has worked in the area of taxation for the MA Department of Revenue and Coopers and Lybrand.  She was in-house legal counsel to the Trust Division of State Street Bank and Trust Company.  Prior to joining Ledyard, Valerie had a legal practice in which she focused on estate planning, taxation, trusts, and charitable organizations.
 
Valerie graduated from Boston University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics.  She has a Juris Doctor Degree from Boston College Law School with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Valerie is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, is a current member and past chair of the Trust Committee of the NH Banker’s Association, and is currently a member and a Past President of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. 
 
Valerie grew up in the Upper Valley and returned to raise her family here.  She is very involved in the local community, serve on the boards of many local non-profit organizations including the Upper Valley Children’s Center, West Central Services, WISE, and the Upper Valley Humane Society.

Amy Currie Tardiff joined Ledyard Financial Advisors in December of 2022, bringing over 20 years’ experience in finance including planned giving, trust administration, charitable trusts, wealth management, and nonprofit financing. Prior to joining Ledyard, she was vice president and wealth manager at Bar Harbor Wealth Management. Previously, she was the Director of Tax Credit and Equity Programs at the Community Development Finance Authority.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Linguistics and Communications from the University of New Hampshire and her education by obtaining an M.S. in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, she holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation the American Bankers Association and the Housing Development Finance Professional Certification through the National Development Council.

Amy graduated from Leadership NH in 2013 and is a member of the 2023 class of Leadership Greater Concord.  She sits on the Board of Trustees of the Capitol Center for the Arts as well as the Board of Trustees of the Concord Historical Society and previously served as a board member of the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire. She has also volunteered for multiple nonprofits including the Boys & Girls Club of Central New Hampshire, CATCH Neighborhood Housing, and the Concord Family YMCA. In 2014, she was presented with the Intown Concord Community Impact Award in recognition of her civic dedication. She lives in Concord with her husband, Jeremy.

Deanna received her BA from Norwich University, and obtained a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.

She received the designation of Certified Financial Planner from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, as well as the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers.
