Support for organizations that provide economic opportunities for our communities’ residents. Our Community Development outreach fosters worthwhile community reinvestment, such as:
Support for local human services organizations through corporate donations and employee participation.
Support for organizations that provide arts and cultural activities which further the goals of enhancing the economic development and the quality of life in our communities.

Benefits people or a cause in the community with no goods or services rendered in exchange for the gift. Ledyard Bank grants are directed to the communities we serve. They are primarily made to support specific programs or capital fund requests, and are generally not intended for annual operating support.
These are contributions that generally benefit local non-profit organizations (e.g., schools, town recreation programs, clubs, etc.) that rely on fundraising to accomplish a goal.
Contributions that support non-profit fund raising events and provide an opportunity for the bank to participate in the event through advertising, attendance or other means.
Ledyard Bank employees are committed to the community through their own generosity as well. Our Officers and Employees are encouraged to participate in civic, charitable, educational and cultural organizations.
