Ledyard National Bank recently donated $500 to West Central Behavioral Health in support of their important programming and services that treat mental illness and substance use disorders, while working to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness in our society. Ledyard is proud to support West Central Behavioral Health’s mission, as we both strive to strengthen our community’s health and well-being.
Established in 1977 as a state-designated community mental health organization, West Central Behavioral Health maintains outpatient mental health clinics in Lebanon, Newport and Claremont, where clinicians offer individual, relationship, family and group therapy, and psychiatric care to clients of all ages.
In addition to traditional therapeutic services, West Central’s Emergency Services team responds to mental health crises 365 days a year, including calls from local businesses and schools dealing with tragedy or loss.
