Ledyard National Bank recently donated to the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund and Making Matters New Hampshire; each organization receiving $10,000 in support.
The Housing Assistance Loan Program, offered by New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, is a partnership that helps provide workforce housing for New Hampshire individuals and families. Targeting low-income families, the program helps them purchase safe, affordable, manufactured homes located in resident-owned communities.
Making Matters NH is a maker and shared workspace that supports the arts, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Concord Region by providing access to affordable tools and equipment, collaborative workspace and education.
Jared Reynolds, President of Making Matters stated, “This investment by Ledyard National Bank is going to allow us to significantly increase the equipment and resources we're able to provide. Over the next year we’ll be adding equipment to allow the community to take their projects and ideas to the next level.”
CDFA’s Tax Credit Program brings together worthy nonprofit projects and conscientious businesses to advance local community economic development initiatives across New Hampshire. The organization awards approximately $5 million in State Tax Credits annually.
