Ledyard National Bank was pleased to donate a total of $25,000 recently to two important community organizations. One was $10,000 to Visions for Creative Housing Solutions to further support their mission to provide residential options, services and support designed to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities and similar disabling conditions. The other was $15,000 to Kimball Jenkins, who works to cultivate creativity, make arts education accessible, and honor historic preservation.
“Ledyard is proud to continue its support of these wonderful non-profits. By helping Visions for Creative Housing Solutions build their third home in Hanover, we help them expand their ability to provide permanent housing and lifelong support to our community’s most vulnerable citizens,” said Kathy Underwood, CEO. “And by supporting Kimball Jenkins’ Infrastructure and Accessibility Project, we help them expand their capability to create strong relationships within our local community through art, history, and culture.”
Both organizations are 501(c)(3) non-profits and have been awarded tax credits through the Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) to support their projects. CDFA’s Tax Credit Program brings together worthy nonprofit projects and conscientious businesses to advance local community economic development initiatives across New Hampshire. The organization awards approximately $5 million in State Tax Credits annually.
