Ledyard Bank is pleased to announce that Daniel J. Bailey has joined the organization as Chief Information Officer, bringing more than two decades of technology leadership experience across banking, higher education, and military service.
In his new role, Dan will lead Ledyard’s technology strategy, information security, infrastructure, and digital innovation initiatives, helping ensure the Bank continues to deliver secure, reliable, and forward-thinking solutions for its clients and employees.
Dan most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Salem Co-operative Bank, where he was responsible for technology strategy, cybersecurity, vendor management, and core systems oversight. Prior to that, he held technology leadership positions at Lake Sunapee Bank and Dartmouth College. He also served in cyber operations leadership roles with the New Hampshire Air National Guard and as a Communications Sergeant in the U.S. Army.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Studies from Granite State College and is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking. He also holds several industry-recognized certifications, including Certified Banking Security Executive (CBSE), ITIL Fundamentals, and CompTIA Security+.
