Ledyard Bank is pleased to welcome Sarah Powell as Vice President and Senior Residential Banking Team Leader, bringing over 20 years of experience in mortgage lending. Her understanding of the region and expertise in a variety of loan products, including government loans and state housing loans will be a true asset to Ledyard’s clients. Before joining Ledyard, she served as Vice President and Mortgage Loan Officer at Mascoma Bank.
In her new role, Sarah will oversee a team of residential banking advisors, guiding them in client relationship building, deal structuring, and compliance with lending regulations. She will also ensure high-quality service and performance across the mortgage origination process.
She is actively involved in her community, volunteering for various local organizations such as the Cornish Fair, Turning Points Network’s Steppin’ Up to End Violence, and local school activities.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, graduating in 2003. She resides in Cornish, New Hampshire, with her family.
