Over the past 25 years, Pam Batalis has amassed a track record of marketing and new business
development accomplishments that delivered unprecedented growth across 4 different segments
of the sports industry. An entrepreneurial visionary, Pam’s early career classified her as a true
sports industry pioneer. In only a 10-year span, she developed and successfully launched three
industry-first new businesses including the Women’s Team Sales Division for Reebok; the first
national launch of a women’s professional basketball league - The American Basketball League (the
precursor to today’s WNBA); and the launch of thepit.com - the world’s first real-time online stock
market for sport trading cards. She went on to launch her own consulting firm, Batalis Solutions, where
she was retained by tennis legend Billie Jean King to launch a World TeamTennis expansion franchise,
and then by WNBA Commissioner Val Ackerman among others.
Regardless of the industry, there are some common challenges in business that women face. Pam will
share her story, challenges, and strategies to thrive amidst:
  • The challenges of being a female in a male-dominated industry,
  • the need to differentiate your business and cut through the marketing clutter, and
  • the desire to be recognized for your expertise and accomplishments.
